Obituary for Ervin Russell Robertson Ervin Russell Robertson
Bath County Native Was Former Homestead Grounds Employee

Ervin Russell Robertson, 82, of Warm Springs, Virginia passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 31, 1935 in Bath County, the son of the late Reverend George Russell Robertson and Carrie Catherine Green Robertson.

Mr. Robertson was employed with Robertson Landscaping and was previously employed with the Homestead Resort Grounds Maintenance. He was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt.

He is survived by three brothers, Calvin Robertson, Sr. and wife, Betty, Ira Robertson and Leroy Robertson, all of Warm Springs; two sisters, Montaque D'Ottavio of Turnersville, New Jersey and Mary Belle Ailstock and husband, Jim of Warm Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul A Robertson; two sisters, Virginia Kline and Annie Wolfe.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren with Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment will be in Robertson Family Cemetery in Chimney Run.

Pallbearers will be George Robertson, Tommy Robertson, Albert Ailstock, Johnny Ailstock, Terry Smith, Cody Smith, Christopher Ailstock, Mark Wolfe.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren.
