Obituary for Harold Noland Lacks, Sr. Harold Noland Lacks, Sr.
Retired Westvaco Electrician Dies At Age 85

Harold Noland Lacks, Sr., 85, of 307 Horse Mountain View, Covington, Virginia went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Mr. Lacks was born February 4, 1933 in Covington, a son of the late Lindsey Lacks, Sr. and Edith Morris Lacks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lindsey Lacks, Jr.

He retired from Westvaco as an electrician in 1995 after 37 years with the company.

He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church, where he served as an usher.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Brenda Radford Lacks of Covington; two sons, Harold N. Lacks, Jr., of Roanoke and Scott Lacks and his wife, Julie of Big Island; three grandchildren, Aaron Lacks of Roanoke, Hannah Lacks of Lynchburg and Noah Lacks of Forest; one great grandson, Mason of Lynchburg; one brother, Paul Lacks and his wife, Phyllis of Covington; his mother-in-law, Edith Radford of Roanoke; his sister-in-law, Bonnie Howell and her husband, Tommy of Roanoke and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Price officiating.

Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Arritt Funeral Home.

The family suggests that donations in Mr. Lacks' name be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 311 Jackson Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
