Obituary for Judith A. Stock Judith A. Stock
Texas Tech Grad Was Operator Of "Beautiful Things"

Judith A. Stock, 72, of Brownsburg, Virginia passed away at home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Judy was born March 6, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Ella Jane (Tuttle) Traylor and the late George H. Traylor, Jr.

She was a graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in art and history.

Judy had a woodturning business called "Beautiful Things" and was a member of the Woodturner's Association. She was also involved with race horse rescue. Her main interests revolved around woodworking, knitting and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Leroy; daughter, Rachel of Springfield, VT.; granddaughter, Corinne and grandson, Britin, both of Springfield, VT; brother, George Robert and his wife, Leanne of Lubbock, Texas; her mother, Jane of Garland, Texas; and many more family and friends.

At Judy's request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Old Friends, 1841 Paynes Depot Road, Georgetown, KY 40324.

The family wishes to thank Rockbridge Area Hospice for all of itscare and support during Judy's short illness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
