Norma Jean Patterson, 61, of Fairfield, Virginia died Saturday, August 18, 2018 at her home.

Born May 6, 1957 in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Albert Hartless and Williette Evelyn Hartless.

Norma cooked for several years at the Holiday Inn Express and was fond of rose bushes and particularly red roses.

Surviving are her husband, Kennan Patterson; children, Jody Lilly of Lexington, Patricia Moore of Green Bay, Va., and Nancy Wood Campbell of Rockbridge County.

A memorial service will be conducted at Harrison Funeral Chapel Friday, August 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Miles officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Boulevard, Suite 300, Frisco, Texas 75034 and Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
