Mildred Pennington Hostetter, 84, of Lexington, Virginia died Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

She was born December 25, 1933 in Lexington, a daughter of the late Howard Solomon Pennington and Elma Clements Pennington.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Marvin Hostetter, and sons Gregory Edward Hostetter and David Allen Hostetter.

She was a member of the Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her children, Gary Hostetter, Scott Hostetter, both of Lexington, and daughter, Nancy Hostetter Aigner of Ferrum; one granddaughter, five grandsons and two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Catherine Beard, Lawrence W. Pennington, Lloyd Pennington and Leonard Pennington.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Punker Robertson. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions can be made in loving memory of Mildred to Ebenezer ARP Church, 1610 W. Midland Trail, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
