Former Wal-Mart Baker Was Kentucky Native

Deborah Louise Childress Johnson, 72, of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

Deborah was born on July 27, 1946 to the late Owens F. Childress, Sr. and Mary L. Childress in White Sulphur Springs.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Harry M. Childress, and Owens "Spanky" F. Childress, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Stephen Miller, Dawn Miller Paris, Mark Miller, and Tia Carter; sister, Phyllis Davis; brother, Richard Childress; grandchildren, Maurice Miller, Curt Miller, Marquia Miller, Stephen Miller, Jr., Torian J. Miller, Sydnee Miller, Isaiah Miller, and Mary Carter; five great-grandchildren, and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Saint James Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Scott officiating. Private Burial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is handing the arrangements.
