Robert Calvin Hamilton of Lexington, Virginia died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born, June 4, 1937 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Alfred Jackson Hamilton Sr. and Minnie Smith Hamilton.

Robert retired from Reeves Brothers after over 30 years.

Surviving are his daughter, Tammy S. Hamilton and son, Terry W. Hamilton; brother, Winfred C. Hamilton; sister, Faye Hickman; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home.
