Doris Reynolds Irvine, 82, of Lexington, Virginia died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born October 14, 1935 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of James Henry Reynolds and Lelia Ethel Hepler Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Blake Irvine. Surviving are her husband, Dallas Kenton Irvine; sons, Howard Kenton Irvine and David Douglas Irvine; daughters, Barbara Ellen Cooper, Irma Lee Hassler and Madeline Faye Green; sisters, Annie Lucille Coleman and Cameron Noble; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be conducted at Harrison Funeral Chapel Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Eddie Irvine. Burial will follow at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
