Margie Doraine (Penni) Higgins, 69, of Lexington, Virginia died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at her home.

She was born November 16, 1948, a daughter of the late John Emory Moore and Edna Smith.

Margie was a member of Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church.

She loved spending time with her family, working on her crafts and cooking.

Surviving are her husband, Calvin E. Higgins Sr.; sons, Ladd and Chad Higgins; daughter, Pauline Taylor; sisters, Donna Smith, Candy Ruley and Connie Clark; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Church of Rockbridge by the Rev. George Warden.
