Was Longtime W&L Campus Foreman

William Andrew Penick (Cedric) Logan Jr., 85, of Lexington, Virginia died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Kendal in Lexington.

Born May 2, 1933, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late William Andrew Penick Logan Sr. and Eva Lois Pultz Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Muterspaw and Lorene Weeks.

He was a member of the McElwee Chapel, an elder at Bethesda and trustee of McElwee Cemetery. "Cedric" was a campus foreman for Washington and Lee for over 24 years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Mary Margaret Logan; son, William Andrew Penick Logan III and wife, Kristina; two granddaughters, Audra and Katherine Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, at McElwee Chapel with Pastor Fred Knoll officiating. Burial will follow at McElwee Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home Sunday, October 14.
