William Russell Higgins Sr., 62, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his home.

Born March 22, 1956, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Charles Marshall Higgins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Clyde Higgins.

Surviving are his wife, Connie Higgins; mother, Clara Higgins; daughter, Sherry Winslow and husband, Stephen; sons, William Higgins and Andy Bane; brother, John Higgins and wife, Darlene; sister-in-law, Patsy Smith; and five granddaughters, Tamara, Carol, Triston, Laela and Kierra.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Harris and Rev. George Warden officiating.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
