Mary Bowen Hosey, 89, of 100 Nicholas Dr., Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Hosey was born April 8, 1929 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Okal Bowen and Kizzy Gaines Bowen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Kenneth K Hosey in 2005; three daughters, Edith May, Teresa Hosey, and Letha Hosey; a sister, Christine Bowen; three brothers, Frank Bowen, Percy Bowen, and King Saunders.

She was a member of the Church of New Beginnings in Low Moor.

Surviving are her four sons, Keith Hosey and wife, Darlene of Clifton Forge, Mike Hosey and wife, Adah of Clifton Forge, George Hosey and wife, Becky of Covington, and Wendell Hosey of Clifton Forge; three daughters, Pearl Tucker and husband, Darrell, Linda Kress and Isabell Bradley, all of Covington; 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Monday October 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Pastor Will Bolen officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at Alleghany Memorial Park.
