Rockbridge County Native Was Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Member

Mary Helen Mohler Snider, 95, of Glasgow, Virginia died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Shenandoah Valley Health and Rehab.

Born September 4, 1923 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late William Plynn Mohler and Mary Kate Mohler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Wilson Snider, and daughter, Sonja Beebe.

Helen was a member of the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church. She loved to sew and cook for everyone.

Surviving are her son, Ronald Wilson Snider and wife, Mary; grandsons, Stephen Snider and Scottie Beebe; sister, Lucille Brown; special niece, Lisa Markham; and several nephews. She had many caregivers and all were special to her.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with Pastor Ken Chorle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, 410 Falling Spring Road, Glasgow, VA 24555 or Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
