Ronald Andrew Lowen, 75, of 308 Riverview Drive, Covington, Virginia died Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Brian Center Nursing Home at Low Moor.

Mr. Lowen was born August 24, 1943 in Covington, a son of the late Oscar A. Lowen and Dorothy Henderson Lowen Crawford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Andrew Lowen in 1994.

He retired in 2005 from the Coors Brewing Company in Elkton.

Surviving are two sons, Jason Lowen of Covington, Virginia, and Anthony Lowen and his wife, Angel of Covington, Georgia; his step-daughter, Christi Foss and her husband, Tom of Roanoke; his step-son, Daniel Pillow and his wife, Eileen of Blacksburg; his sister, Carolyn Blenner and her husband, Bob; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Arritt Funeral Home and will be receiving friends Saturday evening at the home of Betty Lowen at 218 E. Fudge Street.
