Obituary for Lucille (Jones) Freeman Lucille (Jones) Freeman
Retired Audit Clerk Was Longtime Trinity United Methodist Church Member

Lucille (Jones) Freeman, 90, of Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away at the Hospice of the Panhandle, Kearneysville, WV on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Mrs. Freeman was born August 9, 1928 in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Matthew B. and Pearl Evelyn Massie Jones.

She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte and a retired Audit Clerk with the Greenbrier County Health Department.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Freeman; sisters, Christine Madaraz and Loretta Hedrick and a brother, Albert Jones, who was killed in action during World War II.

Surviving Mrs. Freeman are her daughter, Judy Kirk and her husband, Bill of Claudville, VA; her son, Steven Freeman Sr. and his wife, Alice of Harpers Ferry, WV; grandchildren, Jeffrey Kirk, Darin Kirk, Renes Gluck (Crystal), Steven Freeman Jr. and Joshua Freeman and great grandchildren, Will Easter, Leandra Gluck and Penelope Gluck.

Funeral services for Mrs. Freeman will be Thursday November 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor David Stilgenbaur officiating with interment to follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

The family will receive their friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 373 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
