Obituary for Patricia Faye Miller Hall Patricia Faye Miller Hall
Rockbridge County Native Voluntered In Many Ways In Her Community

Patricia Faye Miller Hall, 92, of Kerrs Creek, Virginia peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Born October 20, 1926 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late H. J. and Radie Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, W. H. "Buddy" Hall Jr. and her brother, Alfred Miller.

Known as "Grandma Hall" to many, Patricia's heart was full of love; she never met a stranger. She constantly gave to family and friends alike with hugs and kisses and her deliciously tasty treats. The biggest joy of her life was spending time with her family.

Patricia prided herself on service to others and volunteered at the Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Kendal at Lexington, and the Rockbridge Area Free Clinic. For many years she served as treasurer and attended Kerrs Creek Baptist Church, where she also played the piano and the organ.

Surviving are her siblings, Richard Miller and Pauline Tolley. Her children also survived Patricia: Clifford and Mary Hall, Andy and Barbara Hunter, Blair and Ruth Hall, Burr and Lisa Datz, Mike and Donna Young, Billy Hall and Bridgett Mears. In addition to 27 great-grandchildren, Patricia is survived by 12 grandchildren: C. J. and Emily Hall, Harry and Heather Teaford, Jerry and Tammy Christian, Charley Hunter and Christine Thompson, Andrew and AJ Davidson, Tom and Trisha Sawyer, Matt and Jenny Brenneman, Hayes and Emily Ludlum, Caleb and Ally Davis, Katy Datz and Jon Fox, Jamie and Jamie Brown, Doug and Jessica Sisson.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home. The service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 21 at Harrison Funeral Home by Pastor Bill Thomas. Burial will follow at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial gifts to the Eastern Baptist Association (P. O. Box 712, Warsaw, NC 28398) in support of relief efforts associated with Hurricane Florence or to a charity of your choice.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
