Donald W. Shawver, 71, of Asbury, West Virginia, formerly of Covington, Virginia and Charmco, WV passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs, Virginia.

He was the son of James Clyde and Katherine Virginia Keeny Shawver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Sonny Shawver.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Arrington Shawver of Asbury; daughter, Katherine and husband, James Williams of Asbury; son, Victor Bealsey of Hot Springs, VA; brothers: James Shawver of Charmco and Ronald Shawver of Meadow Bridge; grandchildren: Afton, Brooke, Victor, Jr., James, Jr., Samantha, Phoenyx, and Jackson; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Rainelle, WV on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kermit Hunter officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Donald's name.
