Glasgow Resident Dies At Age 94

Helen Falls Entsminger Coffey, 94, of Glasgow, Virginia died Friday, December 28, 2018 at Heritage Hall.

Born July 24, 1924 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Estill Falls and Minnie VanVess Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Boyd William Entsminger and James Alfred Coffey; sister, Edith Hayslett; three brothers, Robert Falls, Bill Falls and Jack Falls; and two grandchildren, Megan Bryant and Michael Entsminger.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Helen is survived by one sister, Loretta T. Clark (Graham); two sons, Steve Entsminger (Sandra) and Ray Entsminger; one daughter, Doris Ann Bryant (Butch); granddaughters, Tiffany Bryant and Sabrina Ayers; two great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev Dean Station officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home.
