Obituary for William (Billy) Emore William (Billy) Emore
Glasgow Resident Dies At Age 68

William (Billy) Emore, 68, of Glasgow, Virginia went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 3, 2019 after a long bout with so many illnesses at the age of 68.

Billy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Kassandra, and his children, Lezley (Kurt) and Travis (Hope). He will also be lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Cody, McKenzey, Preston, Neeley, Mattie and Caleb; his sister, Linda Knick (Wayne); sisters-in-law Susie Emore and Linda Emore; mother-in-law, Bette King; brother-in-law, Jerel King (Barbara); many nieces and nephews and "special brother" Serge Tregubov.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Carl "Pete" and Ruby Emore; brothers, Carl and Kenny Emore; sister, Helen Emore; and father-in-law, Floyd King Jr., who loved him like a son.

Billy was an active member of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church for many years.

He was also a self-employed HVAC man for over 27 years.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Roscoe officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Billy to Boy Scout Troop 29, c/o Preston Evans, 319 Valley Pike Road, Lexington, VA 24450.
