Delores Stone (Mickey) Humphries, age 85, of Covington, Virginia died Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Brian Center Rehabilitation Nursing Care, Low Moor.

Mrs. Humphries was born Augusta 29, 1933 in Alleghany County, a daughter of late Murriell Dayton Stone and Mabel Huffman Stone.

Mrs. Humphries was an employee of the former Leggett Department Store in Covington.

Surviving are her son, Roscoe Humphries and his wife, Debbie of Covington; two sisters, Margie Young and her husband, Buddy of Covington and Jean "Tootles" Tingler and her husband, Roger of Covington, GA; two brothers, Dayton Stone and his wife, Penny of Clifton Forge and Gary Lynn Stone of Graham, NC and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Bowser officiating.

The family will receive their friends Wednesday at Arritt Funeral Home from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
