Janice Ann Middleton, age 76, died January 18, 2019 at Lewis Gale-Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor, VA.

She was born May 5, 1942 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Leon H. Middleton and Mary Critzer Middleton.

Janice was an accountant and retired from ABB in Lewisburg WVa.

Ms. Middleton was also the previous owner of the Buckhorne Country Store.

Ms. Middleton is survived by two brothers, Leon H. Middleton Jr. and wife, Kaye and Michael F. Middleton and wife, Patty; two sisters, Lois M. Magrogan and Becky Burgess and husband, Stephen; nieces and nephews, Sarah Burgess, Stephanie Callaghan, Ryan Middleton and Brian Middleton and seven great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Middleton officiating.

Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Mike Middleton, Leon Middleton, Brian Middleton, Steve Minter, Chris Callaghan and Riley Callaghan. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Burgess and Barry Magrogan.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service and at other times at the residence of Becky and Steve Burgess, 305 Cline Meadow Road, Covington.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Dunlap Fire and Rescue, Rt. 159 Hematite, P. O. Box 218 Covington, VA 24426.
