Jakobi Wayne Brookman, infant son of Kimberly Jean Dunihue and Christopher Wayne Brookman, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-brother, Easton Brookman of Covington, Virginia; his paternal grandparents, Gary and Virginia Nuckols of Covington; his maternal grandparents, Barry and Mary Dunihue of Clifton Forge; his paternal great grandmother, Gail Brookman of Covington; his maternal great grandmother, Wanda Tallman of Alderson, WV, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Sampson officiating assisted by Rev. Jamal Caul. Following the service the family will receive friends at Arritt Funeral Home.
