Mary Elizabeth Entsminger Wright, of Buena Vista, Virginia departed this life Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David D. and Mabel Goolsby Entsminger.

Ms. Wright was a member of Buena Vista Presbyterian Church.

She was a graduate of Parry McCluer High School and ATI Beauty School, Roanoke. Mary was owner and operator of Old Dominion Beauty School for 10 years and Old Dominion Beauty Salon.

She is survived by her wonderful children, Mark and Janet Wright, Chris and Michelle Wright, all of Buena Vista, Dale Wright, of Newnan, Ga., and Kathy Wright and Ronnie Chittum of Rockbridge Baths; nine grandchildren, Melanie, Leah, Steven, Mallory, Elizabeth, Dale II, Becca, Zack and Katie; two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Jackson; brother, Everett Entsminger (Mary Catherine), of Buena Vista; and sister, Peggy Long (Billy), of Maryland.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 26 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. W. David Bain and the Rev. Howard Boswell Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 25 at the funeral home.
