Minnie Elizabeth Chittum Coleman, 89, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Monday, February 25, 2019.

Born March 5, 1929 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bruce Chittum and Lillian Mae Dunn Chittum.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Earl, Buzzy and Billy and a sister, June Garrett.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Curtis William Coleman; children, Jerry Edward Conner, Janet Lee Graham (Bob), Debbie Ann Gilbert (Ray) and Danielle Lynn Coleman; four grandchildren, Jason Conner (Jennifer), J. J. Conner, Lindsey Loy (Bryan), and Adam Gilbert (Katelin); seven great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Chittum (Mary); and sisters, Susie Chittum, Katherine Arthurs, Doris Miller (Johnny), Charlotte Stinnett (Ralph), Cora Roberts and Linda Anderson.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Butch Grow. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
