Obituary for Steven Thomas Damon Steven Thomas Damon
Marine Corps Veteran Was House Of Prayer Church Member

Steven Thomas Damon, 63, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Virginia.

Born March 9, 1955 in Charleston, WV, he was a son of the late W. V. Thompson and the late Norma Jean Talbott Warren.

Steven was a member of the House of Prayer Church in White Sulphur Springs and was an adventurous man who loved all outdoors activities including riding motorcycles, fishing and boating.

He was a Marine Corps veteran and was a longshoreman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lesa Miles.

He is survived by his six children, Kizzy Damon, Steven Damon, Malcom Beverly, Alicia Beverly, Mary Beverly and Joshua Macey; grandchildren, Jasiah Rawls, Aysha Damon, Amya Damon, Akiva Martin, Aloni Damon, Cameran Beverly, Dorian Tillman, Ashley Beverly, Elizabeth Tillman and Bronson Beverly; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Lavonda Hobbs, Loretta Barnes and Martha Whitlow; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Friends and family will be received from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
