Mrs. Dorothy Lockhart Hawthorne, age 87, of Rehoboth Beach Delaware, formerly of Covington, Virginia died March 4, 2019.

She was the wife of the late Hugh Hillsman Hawthorne.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church, with Rev. Russell Urban officiating. Interment will follow at Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
