Obituary for Patty Paige Grimm LaCour Patty Paige Grimm LaCour
Bath County Native Was Millboro USPS Clerk

Patty Paige Grimm LaCour, 59, of Millboro, Virginia died March 7, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

She was born January 18, 1960 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Everett Franklin Grimm and Lula Frances Schooler Grimm.

Patty was formerly employed as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service in Millboro for 22 years.

She attended Lifeline Ministries, and was a hard-working lady who loved her grandbaby, planting flowers, and gardening.

Patty is survived by her husband, Todd Allen LaCour of Millboro; children, James Ethan Malechi LaCour and significant other, Amber Hooper of Louisa, Christopher Lee Wright and significant other, Ashley Schaefer of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Jake Allen LaCour; brothers, Herman Franklin Grimm of Richmond, Wayne Chester Grimm and wife, Betty of Covington, Donald Young Grimm and wife, Barbara of New Castle, Danny Joe Grimm of Millboro; sisters, Phyllis Gay Church and husband, Bobby of Covington, Joyce "Juice" Huffman and husband, Roger of Verona, Frances "Shorty" Wolfe and husband, Luther of Millboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Buck, Tinker, and Elmer Grimm.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Life Line Ministries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Zach Royer officiating. Interment will be in Lyle Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Doris Via Foundation or the Millboro Fire Department.

The McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home, Hot Springs, is in charge of arrangements.
