Mildred (Millie) Proud of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away peacefully away early Saturday morning, March 16, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

She was lovingly surrounded by family during her time at Hospice.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Proud; children, Jean and Joe Kirk, Diane and Charlie Caddock, Priscilla Proud and William Proud; grandchildren, Tyler and Joy Kirk; sisters, Marcia Hofmann and Marilyn Beebe.

The family will have a "Celebration of Life Ceremony" for her at the Lewisburg Methodist Church on May 18th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
