White Sulphur Springs Native Was Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church Member

Mrs. Teresa Ann Clifford Livesay, age 81, of Roanoke, Virginia died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at her daughter_s residence.

She was the wife of late Marvin Warren Livesay.

Mrs. Livesay was born October 7, 1937 in White Sulphur Springs, WV, the daughter of the late Leo Michael Clifford and Effie Anel Lilly Clifford.

She was a homemaker.

Teresa loved to read, enjoyed going to the beach and was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She enjoyed making clothes for her daughters and granddaughters as well as making quilts for each grandchild.

Mrs. Livesay was a member of Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church and Bonsack Methodist Church in Roanoke. She was a member of the Junior Women's Club in Covington as well as bridge clubs in both the Covington and Roanoke areas.

Teresa loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed watching their ballgames. Being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy.

Mrs. Livesay is survived by a son, Alan Warren Livesay and wife, Daphne of Covington; three daughters, Marva L. Sellers and husband, Mitch of Covington, Lisa L. Jessee and husband, Rick of Warm Springs and Marsha L. Womack and husband, McKinley of Delaware; ten grandchildren, Samantha J. Tuttle and husband, Mike, Cory S. Jessee and wife, Ashley, Hillary Jessee Johnson and husband, Blake, Patrick Alan Livesay and wife, Haley, Rachael L. Knaak and husband, Atom, Adam Warren Livesay, Ethan A. Sellers, Haden M. Sellers, Kara Womack, and Alyssa Womack; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Leo Michael Clifford, Jr. of Covington; a sister, Rose C. Ross of Rupert, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Livesay was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Ethan Clifford Sellers and Alexandra Mitchell Sellers; a brother, Thomas R. Clifford; two sisters, Lily C. Lewis and husband, Gordon and Agnes C. Stull and husband, Lon; a brother-in-law, Honus C. Ross; and a sister-in-law, Pansy Smith Clifford.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 at Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. B. Fails and Rev. Samantha Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
