Obituary for Lester Leighton Campbell Lester Leighton Campbell
Natural Bridge Resident Was Well-Known In The Logging Trade

Lester Leighton Campbell, 76, of Natural Bridge, Virginia died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Born October 2, 1942 in Craig County, he was a son of the late Odna Campbell and Emily Carper Campbell.

Lester was a member of the South Lexington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing his faith with others.

He had a passion for the logging trade and was well-known in the industry. He enjoyed playing country music with his family and friends. Nothing brought him greater joy than being with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Sharion Campbell; daughters and sons-in-law, Carmen and Frankie Bradford, Penny and James Seaman; siblings, James "Jack" Campbell and wife, Shirley, Maxine Whorley and husband, Gene Whorley; and one grandchild, Matthew Bradford and wife, Kacie-Jo Bradford. He is also survived by three nephews, five nieces and a large extended family.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Home conducted by Elder Taze Crowder. Friends may gather with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 22 at Harrison Funeral Home.
