Kenneth (Steve) Steven Markham, 57, of Glasgow, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence.

Born March 13, 1962 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Kenneth E. Markham and the late Aileen C. Markham.

In addition to his mother, Steve was also preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis M. Sawler, and brother-in-law, Ed Sawler.

He was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Teresa Wann Markman; daughter, Stacey C. Hess (Brandon); brother-in-law, Terry Wann; sister-in-law, Mary W. Sheets (Larry); special cousin, Barbara B. Surface (Barry); special friend, Carol Burch; and several nieces and nephews.

Thanks are extended to Rockbridge Area Hospice and Dr. William Sayre.

The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastors Adam Williams and Al Bashlor. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
