Jessie Heppinstall Tolley, 71, of 103 Sammys Road, Covington, Virginia died Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Tolley was born June 19, 1947 in Kingsley, England, the daughter of the late Tommy and Jessie D. Heppinstall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William John Tolley in 2003, and also by two sisters and three brothers.

She retired from the accounting department at Walmart.

Surviving are two sons, Bill Tolley of Covington and Steve Tolley and his wife, Heather of Buena Vista; two daughters, Debra Watkins and her husband, Jeff of Chesterfield and Diane Eames and her busband, Wes of Basset; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn Tolley, Garron Tolley, Adrianna Tolley, Jake Eames, Caroline Eames, Victoria Watkins, Heidi Eames and Bryton Tolley; one brother, Trevor Heppinstall of England and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive their friends for one hour before the service at Arritt Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorial donations in Mrs. Tolley’s name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice; P.O.Box637; Clifton Forge, VA 24422 or to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
