Donald McNeil Vest Jr., 51, of Rockbridge County, Virginia died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lutheran Family Services of Virginia in Salem.

Born May 2, 1967 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of Peggy Vest and the late Donald McNeil Vest Sr.

Also preceding him in death was his stepfather, James Carlyle "Jim" Vest.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, James Vest Jr.; a sister, Gina Humphreys; a special aunt, Charlene Humphreys; an uncle, Lorenza Lee Vest Jr.; and aunts, Edith Marie Petty and Nancy Vest Higgins.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Bobby W. Spurgeon and the Rev. Dean Staton. Burial will follow at New Monmouth Presbyterian Chruch Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Harrison Funeral Home.
