Obituary for Grace Marie Bauserman Grace Marie Bauserman
Ronceverte Christian Church Member Was C&P Telephone Operator

Grace Marie Bauserman, age 90, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at The Brier Nursing Home in Ronceverte, WV.

She was born on November 25, 1928 in Ronceverte, WV, to John and Bessie Barley and was preceded in death by her late husband, Waldo F. Bauserman.

She was a longtime member of the Ronceverte Christian Church.

Grace worked as a telephone operator for C&P Telephone Company for 34 years, which most likely contributed to her love of talking on the telephone with friends and loved ones on a daily basis, as well as showing off her texting skills by sending happy thoughts and to ask "what are you having for dinner?"

She loved to cook and provided family, friends and many others in the community with her delicious home cooked meals. She will always be known for her generosity, love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Barley and Everett Barley: two sisters, Nellie McNeil and Blanche Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Drema M. Holland (Fred), and special niece, Martha McNeil; grandchildren, Raina Holland (Nichole), Jeremiah Holland (Brandy), Anna Gillis (Jason); great-grandchildren, Keiristen, Dale, Delylah, Christian, Madison, Rylee, Ariel, Zach, Ethan, Khalil, Brooklyn; and many special nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Connie Anderson and special staff for their many years of tender loving care for Grace.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, WV, with Kenny Hylton officiating.

The visitation hours will be held Sunday, May 5 from 2-3 p.m., followed by memorial service at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens.
