Donna Marie Shafer Conner, 58, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her residence.

Born April 17, 1961 in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Freeman Mays and Margaret Mutispaugh Mays.

In addition to being a stay-at-home MawMaw, Donna will be remembered for her love of fishing.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby Conner; daughter, Ashley Flint (Rob); son, Chris Shafer; five grandchildren, Lacey Moore, Austin Davis, Marshall Shafer, Jacob Flint and Lexi Flint; sisters, Juanita Monteith (Bobby), Jean West, Linda Shafer and Diane Mitchell (Roy Dale); and a brother, James Shafer.

The funeral will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Kris Peaden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
