Mary Catherine Ramsey Hurd, 92, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at home.

Mary was a longtime member of Ronceverte Christian Church in Ronceverte.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Coye Hurd; her parents, A.J. and Ethel Bowden Ramsey; brothers, Grover, Elbert, and Julian "Pat"; and a sister, Maxine Beavers.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Waugh; brother, Chris Ramsey; son, Gary Hurd and wife, Sue; daughters, Helen Hurd and Brenda Bluestone; grandchildren, Cindy and husband Rick, Matthew and wife, Kristy, Nate, Dylan and Andrew; great granddaughters, Brecken and Brenna; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service was held Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery at Organ Cave, with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating.
