General Motors Retiree Was U. S. Air Force Veteran

Orville Henry Williams, 83, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born November 3, 1935 at Hughart, WV, he was the son of the late Loyd O. and Mattie J. Williams.

Orville was retired from General Motors after over thirty years of service.

He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and served his country from 1955-1958.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna Sturgell; brothers and sisters, Oretha Franke, Rufus Williams, Harry Williams, Garland Williams, Thelma Spencer and Dale Williams.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Sylvia Faulkner Williams; daughters, Debbie Chapman of Frankford and Sarah Smith (Daniel) of Georgia; grandchildren, Nicole Hale (Wayne) of Maxwelton, WV, Tanya Pascale of Georgia, Joshua Smith of Georgia and Benjamin Sturgell of Lewisburg, WV; great grandchildren, Parker and Tucker Hale, Tyler Pascale, Carter Herman and Savanna Sturgell; brother, Alfred Williams of Beckley, WV; and sisters, Louise Boothe of Ronceverte, WV and Ella Cantley of Richmond, VA; several nieces and nephews

. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel , – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Mike Teubert officiating. Burial followed in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV. Visitation was held Monday, May 13, 2019 at the funeral home.
