Calvin Johnson, Jr., 51, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

Born December 3, 1967 at Pikeville, KY, he was a son of the late Calvin Johnson, Sr. and the late Sarah Blevins Johnson.

Calvin has been a resident of Lewisburg the past 20 years, formerly of Chattaroy, WV. He attended school in Mingo County, WV before coming to Lewisburg.

He loved Superheroes, Scooby Doo, Buddy the Elf, honey buns, pop, Boost, and enjoyed going for car rides. His favorite music artist was Johnny Cash.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Rose Johnson Maynard.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy Jane Deskins of Florida, his best friend Robbie, and his many friends at RESCARE in Lewisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Ike Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
