Doris Catherine Watts Irby, 88, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 5, 1930 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late David Bernard Watts and Jessie Austin Watts.

She was a devout member of Natural Bridge Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Irby.

Surviving are her three children, Linda C. Irby, Charles J. Irby and wife, Joanna, and Anglea I. Rader and husband, Daniel; three grandchildren, Zane H. Irby and wife, Crystal, Laura C. Righter, and C. Austin Irby and wife, Sarah; and two great-grandchildren, Reese L. Irby and Zack Fisher.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
