Roger Lee Roberts, 69, of Fairfield, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Born September 25, 1949 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Maynard Roberts and Virginia Mae Chittum Roberts.

Roger was preceded in death by his beloved son, Kevin Tate Roberts, and his beloved granddaughter, Samantha Gail Roberts Lewis.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Hazel Marie Higgins Roberts; two grandchildren, Zachary Tate Roberts and Marissa Jade Holzworth; two great-grandchildren, Tate Lee Lewis and Abel Brian Lewis; and sister, Betty Jane Roberts.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Green Hill Cemetery by Pastor Mike Fauber.

A celebration of life will follow at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Elementary School.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
