Charles David (Charlie) Redman, 73, of Fincastle, Virginia died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

Mr. Redman was born March 10, 1946 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Abbott and Florence Nutty Redman.

Surviving are his wife, Iva Bradley Redman of Fincastle; two daughters and sons-in-Law, Delores and Tommy Lewis of Hardy and Tammy and Darnell Tingler of Thaxton; one brother, Jimmy Redman of Roanoke; three sisters, Nancy Vess and her husband, Sidney of Fincastle; Joann Conner of Troutville and Kathy Bennett and her husband, Jerry of Dublin; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.

The family will receive their friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at Arritt Funeral Home.
