David Lee Coleman Sr., 64, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home.

He was born Aug. 21, 1954 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Samuel Nelson Coleman and Emma Tolley Coleman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Arnette Ayers Coleman.

Mr. Coleman was a member of the High Bridge Presbyterian Church and was previously employed at Mohawk Industries. He loved to hunt, fish and raise a garden.

Surviving are his son, David Lee Coleman Jr.; stepdaughter, Sherry Stanley; sisters, Doris Lipscomb and Catherine Goodwin; and brothers, Harold Coleman and Lynn Coleman.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Terry Bostic. Burial will follow at High Bridge Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
