White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Marine Veteran, Longtime Upholsterer For The Greenbrier

Lloyd Clinton Harbaugh, 68, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at his residence.

Lloyd was born September 7, 1950 in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Dale Allen and Reta June Casto Harbaugh, Sr.

He was an upholsterer for 40 years for the Greenbrier Hotel Union #1182. He was a member of the NRA, Hog Bill Hunting Camp, and Clear Creek Rod and Gun Club of Cole Knob.

Lloyd served his country and was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. He was also a member of the Cornerstone Church of God of Prophecy, and most recently, the Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Thurston "T.O." Harbaugh, Dale Allen Harbaugh, Jr., and beloved dogs, Chelsea and Cali.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Delong Harbaugh of White Sulphur Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Donna Delong of White Sulphur Springs; special nieces and nephews, John and Erma Klenk of TX, Robert and Tammy Burless of TN, Holly and Russell Boggs and their children, Caitland and Cassidi of White Sulphur Springs, Emmett and Jeannie Boguess of Covington, VA; sister, Debbie Hanson of White Sulphur Springs; many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; special hunting buddies, Michael Bolt, Goose Humphreys, and Derrick Coleman.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel United Methodist Church with Pastor Angie Lucas officiating. There will be a dinner immediately following the service held at the church for family and friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
