Registered Nurse Was Retired Minister Of Family Of God Church In Florida

Susan Marie Kliebenstein, age 69, of 530 McCormick Boulevard, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at her residence.

She was born June 16, 1949 in Iowa to the late James Robert and Luella Marie Kraus Kliebenstein.

She was a registered nurse and a retired minister for Family of God Church in Melbourne, Florida.

She loved to quilt, crochet, braid rugs and other crafts. She was an avid swimmer with many Iowa State Championship medals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Gary Kliebenstein.

She is survived by her wife, Shirley J. Smith of Clifton Forge; three step daughters, Mary Jo Edmondson and husband, Darrin of Monroe, Georgia, Angi Lamont and husband, Paul of Panama City, Florida, Debie Vaughan of Steubenville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Jane Kliebenstein of Iowa; a brother, Stan Kliebenstein and wife, Kathleen of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Greg, Richard, Trevor, Eli, Payton, Chelsea; two great grandchildren, River, LeLand; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
