Arbutus Lee (Bootie) Sams, 84, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away on Monday morning June 17, 2019 at Greenbrier Health Care Center in Fairlea.

Bootie was born March 22, 1935 in Nitro, WV, the daughter of the late John and Nellie White Donahue.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Norma White and a brother, Sonny Donahue.

Surviving is her husband, James M. "Jim" Sams of White Sulphur Springs; daughters, Debbie Gaughran of White Sulphur Springs, and Pam Isaacs (David Allison) of Cocoa, Fl.; grandchildren, Matt Gaughran and his wife, Mallorie and Danielle Isaccs; great grandchildren, Luke and Lilly Gaughran; sister, Sue Dallon of Cocoa, Fl.; brother, Denver Donahue of Cocoa, FL; nieces and nephews, Cindy Deskins, Rebecca Shearer, Lisa Barner, Jackie Donahue, Patricia Brennen, Karen Lafon, Kimberly Imbruglia and Amy Mathis.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 21, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Shari Stigenbauer officiating.
