Juanita Warren Sorrells of Lexington, Virginia died on June 19, 2019. She was born on April 30, 1936.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite Newman and Claude Newman; her husband, Monty Warren; sister, Martha Persinger; brothers, Ted and Stuart Whiteside; and stepdaughter-in-law, Becky Sorrells.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Sorrells; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Renee Warren; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Greg Lipscomb, and Stephanie and Dean Fuller; son, Bill Warren; stepdaughter and spouse, Jean Belcher Gadd and Tatum Orr; and stepsons and spouses, Phillip and Linda Belcher, Danny and Linda Sorrells, Sam and Wanda Sorrells, Maverick Sorrells. She is also survived by a brother and spouse, Larry and Jan Whiteside.

She has 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lauderdale A. R. Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main St., Lexington.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
