James (Jim) E. Berry, 75, of Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away the morning of Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

Jim was born July 21, 1943 in Washington, DC, the son of the late Louise Mitchell Berry and William H. Gillilan.

Jim was a Protestant, and a U. S. Army veteran, having been stationed in Germany while in service. He retired after 34 years in 2008 from B. A. Mullican as a saw filer.

He was preceded in death by other than his mother, his cat, "Fat Boy" and by four brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.

Jim leaves behind his beloved wife of 49 years, Nancy Kelly Berry; sisters, Martha Workman (Jimmy) of Renick, Becky Barrett (Larry) of Renick and Baltimore, MD., and Linda Bare (Sammy) of Auto; sister-in-law, Wanita Kelly of Yorktown, VA; nieces and nephews, Tina Workman of Brady, TX., Melinda Workman of Renick, WV., Heather Osborne of Clintonville, WV., Jennifer Walker of Lexington, KY., Dennis Bare of Union, WV., Michelle Lewis of Renick, WV., Shawn Gillilan of Baltimore, MD., Tracy Crites of Middle River, MD., Tori Lester of Baltimore, MD., Deirdre Ford of Lewisburg, WV. and Patrick Kelly of Yorktown, VA; 20 grand nieces and nephews and six great grand nieces and nephews, and a dear special friend, Lisa McCoy.

As requested by Jim, he is to be cremated with no services.

The family requests no flowers, but memorial contributions may be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
