Kurtiss Ladell Edwards, 54, of 511 East Ridgeway Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

He was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 3, 1964, a son of Christine Williams of Roanoke and his adopted parents, Percy and Hazel McClease Edwards.

He is survived by his wife, LaShawn Smith Edwards of Clifton Forge; his mother, Christine Williams of Roanoke; a daughter, Leola Edwards "LeLe" of Roanoke; a son, Atir Perkins; a sister, Hope Williams of Roanoke; a brother, Darryl Williams of Roanoke; and a host of grandchildren. Also, mother and father-in-law, Carita and Dennis Edwards of Clifton Forge; sister-in-law, Carkeia Massenburg and husband, Tyrone of Dinwiddie. He is also survived by a step daughter, Jamira Smith of Baltimore and a step son, Justin Jiggetts of Clifton Forge.

A memorial Sservice will be conducted Monday, July 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Dearing officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home.
