Obituary for Rebecca Craft Bradshaw Rebecca Craft Bradshaw
Craig County Native Dies At Age 102

Rebecca Craft Bradshaw, 102, of 6605 Potts Creek Road, Covington, Virginia died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born January 20, 1917 in Craig County, a daughter of the late James P. and Florence Humphries Craft.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Bradshaw; a daughter, Phyllis Bradshaw; a son, Leo Bradshaw; a daughter-in-law, Carol Bradshaw; a son-in-law, Robert Scott, and three brothers and two sisters.

She was a longtime member of the Salem Church of God. Becky loved her flowers and milked cows to make her own butter and cottage cheese. She also mowed her own yard, was an excellent cook and made her own biscuits.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Scott of Covington; her son, Eugene Bradshaw of Covington; her daughter-in-law, Ada Bradshaw of Covington; two granddaughters, Dawn Craft of Covington and Teresa Stevens and her husband, Nate of Roanoke; four grandsons, Michael Bradshaw, Rick Bradshaw, Jay Bradshaw and Marty Bradshaw; ten great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews to include a special niece, Brenda Napier and a special nephew, Gerald Cox.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Connie Wilson officiating.

Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at Arritt Funeral Home.

The family suggests that donation in Mrs. Bradshaw's memory be made to the Church of God-Salem, P. O. Box 1234, Salem, VA 24153.
