Obituary for Keith E. Morgan Keith E. Morgan
Former Bank Vice President Dies At Age 81

Keith E. Morgan, 81, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, formerly of Ronceverte, passed away Sunday morning June 30, 2019 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born July 12, 1937 in Ronceverte, the son of the late North C. Morgan and Margaret Morgan Deaver.

Keith was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte and a retired Vice President with The First National Bank in Ronceverte, having retired in 1997 after 29 years of service.

Keith was a former member of the Ronceverte Lions Club and was a Melvin Jones Award recipient, a Mason and Shriner, Director Emeritus with the State Fair of WV, on the Board of Directors of the Ronceverte Public Library, Board of Directors of Gateway Industries, one of the organizers and Board of Directors member of the Ronceverte River Festival, Citizen of the year 1997 for city of Ronceverte and an avid WVU Mountaineer fan.

Preceding Keith in death other than his parents was his brother, Emmitt Clayton Deaver.

Surviving Keith are his wife, Sharon Kay Ballard Morgan; brother, Mark Morris Morgan of Mineral, VA.; sister, Peggy Crawford and her husband, Henry of Ronceverte; nieces and nephew, Kelli Bostic (Jamie), Charles Crawford, both of Ronceverte; Jennifer Miller (C. J.) of Frankford and Tonya Wolford of Mineral, VA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte with Rev. David Stilgenbauer and Rev. Felicia Wooten-Williams officiating with interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Church.

Those serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are Jeff O'Brien, Jamie Bostic, Charles Crawford, Steve Harris, Stewart Beard, Cav Arnold, Spencer Arnold, Tim Longanacre, Freddy Hodges, Darrell Echols, Clyde Connor and Bill Sturgill.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either Trinity United Methodist Church 373 Pocahontas Ave., Ronceverte, WV 24970 or the Ronceverte Public Library 712 West Main St., Ronceverte, WV 24970.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
